Our approach

Essential storage makes the site work and needs no consent: your cookie choices, your theme preference, your sign-in session (an httpOnly cookie that scripts cannot read), your device tokens (lh_device… cookies, one per account you sign into on this browser — httpOnly security cookies that let us warn you about sign-ins from a device that account has not used before; they identify the device to that account, not you to anyone else), the reference that keeps your live-chat conversation and its sound preference on your device, and — only on your own device — your Emergency Card. These don't track you.

Analytics cookies are OFF by default and load only if you choose to allow them in the consent banner. When allowed, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used — pages visited, how you arrived, and what device you use — so we can improve the platform and our marketing. Google sets its _ga cookies (up to 2 years) for this purpose. We have configured analytics with Google Consent Mode; nothing loads and no cookie is set until you say yes.

We set no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Changing your mind

Use the "Cookie settings" link in the footer at any time to view or change your choice. Withdrawing consent stops analytics immediately and removes our record of consent; you can also clear this site's data in your browser.
