Hero Deeds
A city where nobody freezes because a boiler broke
Some Londoners can’t afford the repair that stands between them and a safe, warm home. Hero Deeds is our commitment to be part of the answer — funded by the platform, delivered by volunteer Heroes, reached through charities who know who really needs it.

The pledge
How it works
- 1
The platform funds it
A share of London Heroes revenue goes into the Deeds fund. As the platform grows, so does the fund — it scales with every job Londoners book.
- 2
Charities refer
Recipients come through partner charities and community organisations who know who genuinely needs help — never self-nomination, never our judgement alone, and never publicity in exchange for help.
- 3
Heroes deliver
Verified Heroes volunteer their time; the fund covers parts and costs. Participating Heroes carry the Deeds mark on their passport.
The honest part
Hero Deeds starts as a pilot. The fund is real — 1% of the platform’s commission on every completed job flows into it automatically — but the platform is newly live, so the fund is small and the track record is just beginning. We publish real numbers — deeds completed, money spent, partners involved — as they happen, on this page. We’d rather show you an honest small scoreboard than an invented big one.

First campaign
Winter boiler checks for elderly Londoners
Before the first cold snap each year, volunteer Gas Safe verified Heroes will run free boiler safety checks for elderly residents referred by partner organisations — because January is when broken boilers become dangerous, and prevention costs a fraction of rescue.
Charity or community organisation?
We’re looking for referral partners for the pilot. If you work with Londoners in housing need, we’d like to talk.
