Tracking your job from booking to completion
Every protected job has a live tracking link that moves through five states: booked and protected, Hero en route, on site, work complete, confirmed and closed. You can share the link with anyone, and they do not need an account to watch.
The five states
- Booked and protected - you have paid, and the money is held safely until you confirm.
- Hero en route - on the way to the property.
- On site - working on the job.
- Work complete - your Hero has finished and is waiting for your confirmation.
- Confirmed and closed - you have confirmed, and the payment has been released.
Sharing the link
The tracking link is shareable and needs no account to open. That matters more often than it sounds: a tenant waiting in, a neighbour letting the Hero through, or a relative you are arranging the work for can all follow the job without you relaying updates.
Once you have paid, a Share live tracking button appears on the job in your dashboard's jobs list - My jobs, or Jobs in the landlord and agent dashboards. It copies the link, and it is there from the moment the job is booked and protected until your Hero marks the work complete.
Talking to your Hero
Messages go through in-app chat on the job itself, so access, parking and timing get sorted out without either of you handing over a phone number.
Photographs
Before, during and after photographs attach to the job record as evidence of what was done. They are visible to the people on the job and to our team, and they are what a dispute would be settled on if one ever arose.
Confirming
When the work is done, confirm it on the job. That is the step that releases the payment, so do not confirm until you are satisfied - see how the Guarantee protects your payment.
